SOFFIT, FASCIA, AND EAVES
Soffit, fascia, and eaves are important components of a building's roof and exterior design that play a crucial role in protecting the structure and improving its appearance.
Soffit refers to the underside of the roof overhang, which is typically enclosed and covered by a material such as aluminum, vinyl, or wood. The soffit is important for ventilation, as it helps to regulate the airflow in your attic and prevent moisture buildup.
Fascia refers to the flat horizontal board that runs along the edge of the roof and is attached to the trusses or rafters. The fascia helps to support the gutter system and provides a secure base for the roofing shingles. It is also important for protecting the roof and ensuring that water flows away from the building properly.
Eaves are the overhanging edges of a roof that project beyond the side of a building. Eaves help to protect the walls of a building from rainwater and provide additional shade and insulation. They also play a crucial role in the overall aesthetic appeal of a building, as they can be designed in a variety of styles and finishes to complement the look and feel of your home.

PRODUCTS
The most common types of material for these services is aluminum. We are able to provide sample colours, and go through all product options with you (i.e. vented vs. non-vented). We know Calgary’s building codes, and can advise on what you need for your home. The most popular soffit products are Royal® AlumiPro Soffits, Gentek®, and Mitten®.
We also offer cedar soffit for a more high-end feel, in which case, we use Sherwin-Williams® stain to custom-match the colour to your liking. Because soffit isn’t exposed to the elements, it is quite low-maintenance and will rarely (if ever) require re-staining. Our highly skilled carpenters utilize beautiful, quality cedar straight from mills in Alberta and British Columbia.
